The new 6th generation Pioneer Plasma TV's display images with increased depth and dimension - especially in darker picture areas. Sharpness and contrast in shadowy and night scenes is enhanced, and a wider range of black tones can be reproduced, up to the purest black. This is made possible by Pioneer's unique PUREBLACK Crystal Layer: an additional layer added to the inside of the protective glass screen. Added advantages: it boosts overall brightness and contributes to energy efficiency.
