Sony ERS-7  Illume-Face’ LED FaceWill learn and develop from its experiences and the
environment around it.There are numerous electro static touch sensors, including a vertical head
sensor, a face sensor, back sensor, paw sensors and tail sensors.
You can use these sensors to train your AIBO. New software named ‘AIBO Mind2’ that integrates all of AIBO’s
applications onto one 32MB Memory StickWireless LAN Built In. Wireless LAN software which can be
used with the ERS-7 allowing control from mobile devices, PC's and
across the internet Sight - the ERS-7 has a 2D colour camera and an infra-red
distance sensor. When combined, these allow your AIBO to see the world
in 3D.Ability to recognise its owner’s face and voice as well as
locate its energy station to charge itselfVisual Pattern Recognition’ enabling AIBO to distinguish
shapes and patterns. For example, the pattern on the Energy Station pole
helps AIBO to localise and position itself quicklySound - stereo microphones located either side of the head
allow the ERS-7 to hear voice commands. It can even tell from which
direction the sound originated. Voice - AIBO uses speakers to communicate, making various
sound effects through its speakers. Balance - an internal tri-axial-accelerometer allows AIBO to
sense when it has been picked up and also, if it has fallen over, to
determine the best way to get back on its feet. A new toy, the ‘AIBOne’. In the form of a pink bone, AIBO
